Me and my friend booked this surf camp last minute through a recommendation of another friend. The staff here are so accommodating and even upgraded our room for free before we arrived as the house wasn’t very busy. They messaged me on WhatsApp straight away and every time I messaged them they replied in a few minutes. All of the staff, surf instructors, cleaner are so friendly and helpful, very easy to talk to and welcoming. We went to 3 different places to surf in 4 days and although we only did morning lessons we stuck around at the different beaches and if there was room in the surf van they took us back after the afternoon lesson for free. The surf lessons themselves were so fun! They were clear on the safety rules, then we got into our wetsuits, rash vests, carried our boards down to the beach, warmed up and practiced popping up. In the water they made sure we were all safe and more importantly having fun! I felt I learnt so much in the few days we had here and I would definitely come again. We had Bruno, Luis and Lucas as our surf instructors and they were absolutely fantastic! We booked on an extra lesson at the end and as nobody was checking into our room on the last day they let us stay until 5pm free of charge. I couldn’t recommend this place more, the weather was fantastic, the surf house was clean, beautifully decorated, breakfast was just what we needed (and included) and there was unlimited tea and coffee! Ubers into Lisbon centre were also very cheap and quick so if you’re looking for a surf camp in Lisbon this is the one for you! The Surf House is lovely, it is right opposite the sea and our room had a sea view. The facilities like the kitchen and shared bathrooms were simple, pleasant and clean. The continental breakfast was very nice. We visited in summer so it was a 25 minute drive in their minivan each day to the beach where we surfed. They have facilities behind a restaurant on the beach where you can use the bathroom and change into your wetsuits, leave belongings etc. We were welcomed by Nuno, the owner, who was very friendly and professional. The surf instructors were all brilliant and helped us make the most of whatever the surf conditions were each day. We felt we learnt a lot in the short time we were there. How does transportation to and from the surf lessons work?
We offer convenient transportation options to and from the beach for our surf lessons. Whether you prefer to arrange your own transportation or take advantage of our shuttle service, we’ll ensure you arrive safely and on time.
Where is the meeting point for the shuttle?
Meeting point outside Hotel Fénix Lisboa (Praça Marquês de Pombal, 8). Look for the white vans with our logo.
I’m not sure if I’ll have enough free time to participate in surf lessons.
We offer flexible scheduling options for our surf lessons, including morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Whether you’re visiting for a day or staying longer, we’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.
