I didn’t stay at the surf house, but the pick up and drop off from Lisbon was easy and punctual. The waves were tough today but the instructors helped keep the vibes high and stayed in the water getting pounded by waves to help us get up on the board. Would definitely go again!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lovely surf house and good to be near Lisbon centre. Surf school is a ~40 minute drive from the house each day but goes by quickly. Two surf sessions a day with some nice lunch spots nearby. Instructors are very hands on, constructive and made the lessons very fun. We were lucky to have great surfing conditions - caught lots of waves!

Verified Surf lisbon Great, cozy hostel, all instructors make you feel welcomed and are so friendly. 15min metro from Lisbon and right next to the beach, amazing spot. Good value and very clean place. Fresh bread, meat and cheese with a coffee machine and fresh orange juice machine made breakfast amazing, but maybe could have more selection of foods apart from that? BBQ area available to use in hostel as well is another positive along with the nice outdoor area. Easy to meet and talk to people as you are all there for the same activity

Verified Amazing first surfing experience We had an amazing experience with Luis at surf Lisbon. It was my 6 year olds first time surfing and he was pretty nervous—Luis recognized that and built the rapport to help my kid get over his fear and up on the board. He ended up waiting to go back and ride the waves over and over. Can’t recommend the experience enough and would love to visit again!

Verified From Nervous to Inspired: The Perfect Surf Holiday I have always wanted to dedicate more time to surfing, and this was my first solo surf holiday in the last 10 years. I was quite nervous at first, but the moment I arrived at Surf Lisbon House, all my worries disappeared. I had the most amazing time. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, the house was super clean and spacious, and the staff were genuinely friendly and caring. I joined the 7-day surf camp and enjoyed every single moment of it. The instructors took great care of us, making sure we felt safe in the water while constantly encouraging us to improve. I also really loved the yoga sessions with instructor Luis. He has such a beautiful, calming rasta energy, and thanks to him I felt more confident and connected in the water. I am truly grateful for this experience—it was exactly what I needed. I will definitely come back again!

Verified First surf lesson Very good first private surf lesson for two — an adult and an 11-year-old girl. We learned the basics and even managed to surf a few waves standing up on the board! Lucas, the instructor, was impeccable: very professional, patient and nice.

Verified Geweldige surfervaring Super leuke surfles met een top coach. We hadden 1 surfcoach voor 3 personen waardoor we elk persoonlijke tips kregen om ons surfen te verbeteren. We stonden eerst op een foute locatie, maar de organisatie heeft hier rekening mee gehouden door een surfcoach op ons te laten wachten. Super! Ik kom zeker nog eens terug!

Verified I can 100% recommend! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon. Everything was very well organized - you just show up at the central meeting point, and they take care of the rest. The team was incredibly supportive and encouraging, so even with zero surfing experience, you’ll be standing on the board after just a few tries. Such a fun experience!
